Stressful midterms and brand updates

Hello everyone,

We hope you're having a relaxing Sunday.We wanted to quickly check in, explain our short break, and share some updates on what we’ve been working on.

The past two weeks have been busy with midterms, schoolwork, and some much-needed mental health days. Balancing everything can be challenging at times, but we're excited to get back into a more steady rhythm with these journals.

Here’s what’s been happening behind the scenes:

Magnus Logo Tee

Our bulk order of Logo Tees has arrived — all fifteen shirts are in hand. We're really happy with the quality. Each shirt features a custom-sewn Magnus tag, giving it a more personal and finished feel. It’s important to us that this doesn’t just feel like another graphic tee, but a real part of the Magnus collection.

We’ve completed a few photo shoots and a video for the site and social channels. The shirts are packaged and ready to ship once the site officially launches.There are only fifteen available — five in each size — so stock will be limited.

Knit Sweater

We received the second sample of the Magnus sweater and made a few adjustments:

• Extended the body by 3 inches

• Lengthened the sleeves by 1 inch

• Reinforced the neckline with a new stitching technique

• Added a Magnus embrodiery on the back, underneath the collar.

After spending time with the updated version, we feel confident this will be the final sample.We’re now discussing production logistics with our manufacturer and exploring a few small surprises depending on how things progress.

We also ordered hang tags for the sweaters. Some minor scratches showed up on the first batch, so we're taking extra time to make sure the final version meets the quality we expect.

Life and Moving Forward

Midterms were tough — late nights, heavy workloads, and a full schedule with swim and lifting on top of everything else. Even when life outside the brand gets busy, Magnus remains a top priority for us. That said, taking a few days to reset has helped us return with more energy and focus.

We’re looking forward to the tee shirt launch in 9 days and continuing work on the sweater project. at the moment, we don’t have specific plans for a summer release, but we’re open to ideas if there’s anything you’d like to see from Magnus.
